Opening Blessing, Consecration and Faith, Family, and Trust

Keynote Speaker: Bishop Strickland

Bishop Strickland’s talk will focus on the phrase fiat voluntas tua, “Thy will be done”, said during the Our Father. He will reflect on Mary’s use of this phrase at the Annunciation, Christ’s use of this phrase in the garden of Gethsemane and the ways it speaks to every person and every family as the ultimate expression of our Trust in the Lord. We have the strength to say, “Thy will be done,” because of the model God’s Son gives us, the example His Mother gives us and the trust that God’s will is for us to find fulfillment in His Love beyond our imagining.

How Radical Feminism is Betraying Women

Fiorella Nash

Radical feminism has betrayed women through its unquestioning acceptance of abortion and its failure to allow reasoned debate on this most divisive of subjects. Not only have dissenting feminists been effectively forced out of the movement but the abuse of women through abortion is being deliberately ignored, from the killing of baby girls through sex selective abortion to the forced abortion of thousands of women in China. My talk looks at both radical feminism’s failures and the possibility of a new feminism that promotes the dignity of women and the protection of life.

Authentically Catholic: Bless the Mess

Danielle Bean

Is your family on a mission? It’s meant to be! In this talk, Danielle Bean shares ways that all Catholic families are called to be set apart, learning love and virtue in the “school” of their homes, and bringing that love and virtue to the world at large. In Authentically Catholic, Danielle Bean discusses ways that Catholic families are uniquely called to practice love and service to others, to be firm in their identity, to seek the truth, to put God and family first, and to say and do hard things. With humor, practical insight, and wisdom borne from the experience of growing up one of nine children herself, and now married 25 years with eight children of her own, Danielle Bean will encourage and inspire you to take on the unique and messy mission God calls you to — in the heart of your home, raising your family.

Speaking Truth in a Polarizing Culture and Live Q and A

Stephanie Gray

How do we proclaim the pro-life message with wisdom and grace? When people are focused on “the hard cases” to justify abortion or the agony of suffering to justify assisted suicide, what is a persuasive response? Stephanie applies the power of storytelling and The Socratic Method to these controversial topics and equips the audience to reach the hearts and minds of all they encounter.

Hope Springs Eternal

Fr. John Paul Mary

The Family is the heartbeat of the world. Some hearts are weak and some are strong. The question whether will difficulties come is irrelevant. The real question is what will our response be when the storms of life come? And they will. Where is my life and where is your life grounded?
